August 17 - Strathfield MP Charles Casuscelli has launched an astonishing attack on the mayors of Strathfield and Burwood over the new State planning laws.

Casuscelli has told councillors Paul Barron of Strathfield and John Faker of Burwood to “get real and get honest”.

He maintains in a statement issued on Friday night that the two mayors had responded to an invitation to take part in a review of the planning laws with "hysteria and raising unnecessary fear amongst our community.”
